Great fall recipe. Love to serve gravy over mashed potatoes. The recipe works well with any cut of pork.

Ingredients For apple, onion & sage pork chops

2 Tbspall purpose flour

1/2 tspsage, dried

1/2 tspminced, dried garlic

1/2 tspground allspice

1/2 tsppaprika
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspdried thyme
-
1 mdonion, thinly sliced

2 mdapples, thinly sliced

1 capple juice
-
1 1/2 Tbspbrown sugar

2 Tbspvegetable oil
How To Make apple, onion & sage pork chops

1Mix flour, all of the spices and salt. Reserve 1 tablespoon of seasoned flour mixture. Coat pork chops with remaining seasoning.

2Cook pork chops in 2 tbs of oil in a large skillet on medium high heat until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet.

3Add onion and cook until they start to caramelize. Add apple and cook with onion until apple is tender.

4Add reserved flour mixture and brown sugar to juice mix until sugar and flour is disolved. Pour over apples and onions in skillet.

5Return pork chops to the skillet, bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes until pork is tender.
