In the mood for fried pork chops but not the added fat and calories? Try these juicy air fried pork chops. The Parmesan Panko crust is nice and crispy with very little oil used. Inside, the pork chops are juicy and flavorful. Quick and easy to make, these are a fantastic weeknight meal.

Ingredients For air fried pork chops

4pork chops (5 oz each, boneless preferred)

buttermilk

1 1/2 cItalian seasoned Panko bread crumbs

3 Tbspgrated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tspsea salt
-
1/2 tspground black pepper
-
olive oil spray
How To Make air fried pork chops

1Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel.

2Place the chops in a sealable container or bag and pour the buttermilk over top. Let soak for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

3In a shallow dish, mix the Panko and Parmesan.

4Transfer the pork chops, one at a time, to a plate, letting the buttermilk drip off.

5Sprinkle each chop evenly with the salt and pepper.

6One at a time, place the pork chops into the Panko mixture. Cover with the crumbs on both sides, pressing them firmly so they adhere to the pork well.

7Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.

8Remove the preheated air fryer basket and lightly spray with olive oil spray.

9Place the pork chops in the basket. Lightly spray the tops of the pork chops with the olive oil spray. (Don’t overcrowd the basket. The pork chops can be close together just make sure they do not touch. If you have a small air fryer, the chops will need to be cooked in batches.)

10Fry for 6 minutes.

11Flip the pork chops.

12Lightly spray the tops of the flipped pork chops with the olive oil spray.

13Fry for another 6 minutes.

14Let the chops cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack while the juices redistribute.
