My version of a classic

Ingredients For stromboli

  • 1 pkg
    refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 clove
    garlic finely minced
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 c
    mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 jar
    pizza sauce
  • 6
    thin slices ham
  • 12 slice
    salami
  • 24 slice
    pepperoni
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese

How To Make stromboli

    Spray a jelly roll pan with cooking spray. Roll the pizza dough out into a large square. Mel the butter. Brush half the butter onto the pizza dough. Sprinkle the garlic over the dough.

    Layer the ham over the dough. Leave a 1 inch border around the dough. Top with cheddar cheese and a 1/3 of the pizza sauce. Add the salami and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese. Top with another 1/3 of sauce.

    Layer the pepperoni and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese and the remaining pizza sauce. Top with Parmesan cheese.

    Carefully roll up from short end. Lay seam side down. Brush the outside with the remaining melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Until cheese is melted and the dough is nicely browned.
