pizza with meatballs and olives
About 4:30 p.m. on Weds., 10/25/17, I decided I was hungry for pizza, and there is not quick delivery service here where I live! So I checked and I had a bag of King Arthur Unbleached Bread Flour (Pinch It Button/ for the recipe). There is a recipe for bread on the bag! I used that recipe, as I could not find my little cookbook that I have had for years, Fleischman's Recipes. I did use Fleishman's Active Dry Yeast. So this is a recipe using my sauce and my homemade Italian Meatballs, from another recipe that I fall-back on whenever I want to make those.

How To Make pizza with meatballs and olives
-
1Place all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl, stir with a whisk.
-
2Warm the water to lukewarm. Do the same with the milk. Then combine with butter, and stir.
-
3Stir and then mix with your clean hands, and knead until all the dry ingredients are mixed forming a dough which is no longer dry, but pliable and stretchy.
-
4Cut the dough into two pieces. Place each in an oiled bowl with a cover, and let rise in a warm place for an hour.
-
5Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Pepare a pizza pan, with olive oil, or use your pizza stone.
-
6Place one hunk of dough on the pan, stretch it to fill the pan, and make a raised ridge. I rubbed a little olive oil on the dough. Bake for five minutes.
-
7Remove from the oven and place on a rack, then continue to build your pizza, using sauce, cheeses of your choice and meat if desired and veggies.
-
8Bake for about 15 or 20 minutes, until brown around the edges.
-
9I made my own sauce, as I didn't have a jar of prepared sauce or any tomato sauce! You can boil the sauce as I did, to reduce it to the amount you need.
-
10If you like to use a white sauce, I saw a new recipe here on Just A Pinch that looks great, by another "well-known chef". I wish I had seen it before using my red sauce!
