Ingredients For pizza margherita

  • 1/2
    of store bought pizza dough
  • 1 lg
    fresh tomato sliced
  • 1/4 c
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 oz
    burrata or fresh mozarrella cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh oregano
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    fresh basil

How To Make pizza margherita

  • 1
    Place a pizza stone in oven and turn the oven to 425 degrees. Roll out the pizza dough and sprinkle a pizza peel with cornmeal or flour. Place the dough on the peel.

    Brush dough with olive oil then cover with the Mozzarella cheese. Lay the tomato slices in a single layer. Sprinkle with oregano and parmesan cheese.

    Place in oven for about 10 to 12 minutes until crust is browned. Remove from oven and brush the edges with olive oil drizzle the rest over the pizza sprinkle more Parmesan cheese over the pizza then top with basil
