I know it sounds like a lot of garlic but it cooks deliciously

Ingredients For garlic-glazed chicken flatbread pizza

  • 3 Tbsp
    toasted sesame seeds
  • 2
    heads of garlic minced that's right 2 heads
  • 1 tsp
    dried chili flakes
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
    honey
  • 1 c
    rice vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 c
    fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 4
    boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into chunks
  • 2 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2
    ball fresh mini pearl mozzarella cheese
  • 1
    store bought flatbread or make your own
  • 1/4 c
    green onions chopped

How To Make garlic-glazed chicken flatbread pizza

    Toast the sesame seeds on stove until golden set aside. Place a pizza stone in oven and turn heat to 450 degrees.

    Mix the garlic, red chili, soy sauce, honey and vinegar in a bowl and set aside. Add the vegetable oil in a large skillet. Add the chicken pieces and mushrooms and cook until chicken is opaque and mushrooms are browned. Remove with slotted spoon. Pour the vinegar mixture into the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer 15 minutes until reduced to syrupy consistency. Add the chicken and mushroom back to the pan and remove from heat.

    Roll out the flatbread and place on a pizza peel. If the flatbread is on parchment paper. Leave it there if not use some flour or cornmeal on the peel so the dough doesn't stick. Place the dough on the pizza stone in the oven and let bake until lightly browned. Remove from oven and brush with oil. Top with shredded Mozzarella cheese. Then top with chicken mushroom mixture. Then place the pearl mozzarella around on the top of that. Then sprinkle with green onions. Bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle the sesame seeds.
