Ingredients For french bread pizza

1loaf french bread (about 12 inches long)

1/2 cpizza sauce

1 1/2 cshredded low moisture mozzarella

1/2 cpepperoni
-
4slices crispy cooked bacon coarsely chopped

1/2 cchopped red pepper

1/2 cchopped green pepper
How To Make french bread pizza

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Slice the bread in half lengthwise. Spread the sauce. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella. Top with pepperoni, bacon and peppers. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.

3Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned. (see notes)

4NOTES If a little more browning is desired turn the broiler on low for about 1 minute. Broilers are unpredictable so stay close by and monitor the situation. If your stove is ancient or you are not familiar with your broiler I encourage you to skip this step.
