    refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4 oz
    black forest ham sliced
  • 1/4 c
    red onion chopped
  • 1 c
    freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c
    goat cheese
  • fresh basil chiffonade
  • FOR THE BALSAMIC GLAZE
  • 1/2 c
    balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar

How To Make black forest ham pizza w anchoy basil pesto

    To make the pesto Place all ingredients in a food processor and while processing drizzle in oil to make a thick consistency.

    To make the pizza. Roll out the dough in a square. Place a pizza stone in the over and preheat oven 400 degrees.

    Spread the pesto on the pizza dough. Top with the mozzarella cheese, then the black forest ham, red onion, parmesan cheese then drop the goat cheese as best as you can. Brush the edges with some olive oil

    Place on a well floured Pizza peel and transfer to the pizza stone in the oven. Bake about 10 to 15 minutes.

    While the pizza is baking mix the balsamic vinegar and sugar together on a stove top and bring to a boil. Reduce to a thick glaze. you can also use store bought balsamic glaze.

    Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top and garnish with basil leaves.
