Ingredients For white bean pesto pasta

10 ozangel hair pasta

1 cfrozen peas
-
1 cancannellini beans, drained (15 oz)

1 cfresh basil leaves

1/2 cgrated Parmesan cheese

1 clovegarlic
-
2 tsplemon juice
-
1/4 colive oil
-
shaved Parmesan, for garnish
How To Make white bean pesto pasta

1Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Add the peas during the last couple of minutes. Reserve some pasta water and drain.

2Place the beans, basil, grated Parmesan, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil in a food processor. Process until well incorporated. Add a little pasta water if too thick.

3Place the pasta with peas back in the pan and stir in the pesto over low heat until heated through. Serve with shaved Parmesan on top.
