Ingredients For tortellini con prosciutto

2 clovegarlic, crushed

1/4 colive oil

1 Tbspbutter, melted

1/2 lbprosciutto, chopped

16 ozcan whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped

10 3/4 ozcan tomato puree

1 cchicken broth
-
1/2 cgrated romano cheese

1 tspdried whole oregano

1 tsppepper

1/4 cmarsala wine

2 pkgfresh cheese or meat-filled tortellini (8 ounces each)

1/4 cgrated romano cheese

1 Tbspbutter, melted
-
2 Tbspchopped fresh parsley
How To Make tortellini con prosciutto

1Saute garlic in olive oil and 1 tablespoon melted butter in a large saucepan until golden brown. Add prosciutto and the next 6 ingredients; bring to a boil.

2Reduce heat, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until the mixture thickens. Add the wine, and cook 1 to 2 minutes.

3Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain; place in a bowl. Add 1/4 cup Romano cheese and 1 tablespoon butter; toss.

4Pour the prosciutto mixture over the tortellini; toss. Sprinkle with parsley.
