tortellini and sausage alfredo

This is one of my concoctions that I came up with using what I had on hand one evening. It was a hit and has become a family favorite. Add a side salad and garlic bread and you have a meal fit for a king!

Ingredients For tortellini and sausage alfredo

  • 1 lb
    spicy italian sausage
  • 1 pkg.
    frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1
    onions, yellow, medium - chopped
  • 1
    green bell pepper - chopped
  • 1 can
    sliced mushrooms - drained
  • 1 jar
    alfredo sauce
  • grated parmesan cheese

How To Make tortellini and sausage alfredo

  • 1
    Cook and crumble sausage. Drain well. Add chopped onion, green pepper and mushrooms. Saute' until tender-crisp. Add jar of alfredo sauce and heat through. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and return to pan. Add sausage, onions, mushrooms, peppers and sauce to tortellini. Heat through. Top with grated parmesan cheese and serve.
