Ingredients For sweet & tangy chicken livers with angel hair pasta

  • 8 oz
    angel hair pasta
  • 2
    strips bacon
  • 1/2
    onion, sliced
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lb
    chicken livers, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1/4 c
    dry white wine
  • 1/2 c
    dried cherries
  • 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • salt and pepper
  • micro greens, for garnish

How To Make sweet & tangy chicken livers with angel hair pasta

    Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add salt and add the angel hair pasta. Cook about 15 minutes.

    Meanwhile, chop the bacon. Add the bacon to a saute' pan. Once the fat starts to render, add the onion and garlic and cook 2 minutes. Add the chicken livers and cook about 2 more minutes. Add the thyme and wine and cook 2 minutes. Add the cherries and chicken broth. Cook 2 more minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

    Drain the pasta and serve the chicken liver sauce over the pasta. Garnish with micro greens.
