1 boxspaghetti

1 lbground sweet italian sausage

2 Tbspolive oil

1 boxsliced fresh mushrooms (i use baby bellas)

1 smthinly sliced white onion
-
2 tspsalt
-
1 tspcoarse black pepper
-
2 Tbspsliced black olives
-
2 tspchopped garlic
-
1/2 tspannice seed
-
1 and 1/2 tspfresh or dried rosemary
-
4 Tbspcontadina tomato paste
-
3/4 cwater
-
1/2 cheavy cream
-
sugar to taste

parmesan cheese, dry or grated.
How To Make sweet italian sausage and mushroom spaghetti

1Bring a pot of water to a boil and add your spaghetti for the allotted time on the box. While the water is heating to a boil and then the spaghetti is cooking, make the sauce as follows.

2In a medium sauce pan, fry the Sweet Italian sausage on medium heat until cooked. Set aside (juices and all) in a small bowl.

3Warm the olive oil in the same pan on medium heat and then add the mushrooms, thinly sliced onions, salt and pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are browned.

4Add the tomato paste, black olives, garlic, chopped rosemary, and annice seed to the pan and cook for 3 minutes longer while stirring.

5Return the sweet Italian sausage to the pan and mix well.

6Add the water and the heavy cream to the pan. Bring to a simmer, and gently simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened. Slowly add a small amount of sugar or sugar packets to taste.

7Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss it in the sauce. Serve with shredded parmesan on top.
