Ingredients For stuffed shells

12 ozjumbo pasta shells

3/4 lblean ground beef
-
1onion, chopped
-
1 candiced tomatoes (29 oz)

1 cantomato sauce (15 oz)

16 ozcottage cheese
-
1/4 tspdried basil
-
2 tspdried oregano
-
1/8 tspminced garlic
-
salt, to taste
-
ground black pepper, to taste
-
8 ozshredded mozzarella cheese
How To Make stuffed shells

1Cook shell pasta in a large pot with boiling salted water until al dente. Drain well.

2In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onions. Drain off the grease.

3In a large bowl, add the chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce, and cottage cheese; stir well.

4Add the basil, oregano, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.

5In the bottom of a 2-quart baking dish, cover with a half cup of the tomato sauce mixture.

6Stuff the shells with the beef mixture. Place side by side in a baking dish.

7Cover the stuffed shells with the remaining tomato sauce and top with mozzarella cheese.

8Cover with aluminum foil.

9Bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 1 hour.

10Allow to stand for 15 minutes and serve.
