Ingredients For stuffed manicotti

8 ozmanicotti
- ALTERNATE FILLING

1.5 lbground beef

1egg, beaten
-
1/2 lbmozzarella cheese, diced

3 smbread, torn in pieces

1/2 cmilk
-
1 lggarlic clove, minced
-
1/4 tspthyme
-
6 ozmushrooms, sliced
-
1/2 tsporegano
-
10 ozspinach, thawed and drained
-
1/2 conion, finely chopped
-
2 Tbspchicken bouillon
-
1garlic clove, minced
-
1/4 tspthyme
-
2 cricotta cheese
-
2eggs, beaten
-
1/2 cparmesan cheese, grated
-
1/2 tsporegano
How To Make stuffed manicotti

1Cook manicotti; drain
-
2Mix onion, spinach, bouillon, garlic, thyme, ricotta, eggs, parmesan cheese, oregano and 1/2 the mushrooms.

3Fill manicotti shells with spinach mixture.

4Arrange in greased 9x13 baking dish.

5Pour tomato sauce and remaining mushrooms over manicotti.

6Sprinkle with oregano.

7Cover with mozzarella.

8Cover and cook at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly, about 25 minutes.

9ALTERNATE FILLING

10Brown meat in skillet; drain.

11Mix with all other ingredients.

12Stuff manicotti with meat mixture.

13Proceed as in first recipe.
