I created this delicious burger casserole recipe and I decided to use sharp cheddar cheese.

1 bagfrozen mini onion rings, thawed

2 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

12 ozuncooked ziti
-
1 Tbspolive oil
-
1red onion, diced
-
2 lbground chuck
-
1 Tbspsteak seasoning

1 tspdried oregano
-
1 tspdried basil
-
1 cheavy cream
-
3/4 chalf and half
-
3/4 csteak sauce
-
3/4 choney mustard
-
1 tspseasoned pepper
How To Make sharp cheddar burger casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Coat a 4-quart baking dish with cooking spray. Add thawed mini onion rings into the bottom and sprinkle with 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

3Cook ziti pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

4Heat avocado oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add ground chuck and diced red onion and cook for 6 minutes until browned.

5Add steak seasoning, oregano, basil and seasoned pepper; stir to coat the ground chuck mixture.

6In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, half and half, steak sauce, honey mustard and seasoned pepper; whisk well for 4 minutes until blended.

7Mix in ground chuck mixture and cooked ziti together until combined.

8Pour evenly into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

9Bake until the cheese is melted, about 30 minutes.
