This new lasagna recipe is in the style of chicken Parmesan, but I substituted steak and used steak sauce along with the ricotta and marinara.

Ingredients For steak parmesan lasagna

9lasagna noodles

2 Tbspolive oil

5beef top sirloin steaks, sliced into 1/2 strips (6 oz each)

1 mdred onion, diced

2 tspsteak seasoning
-
1 cricotta cheese
-
8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
2egg whites
-
4 Tbspsteak sauce, divided

2 cmarinara sauce
-
1 Tbspgarlic powder
-
2 tspItalian seasoning
-
8 ozmonterey jack cheese, shredded

2 cshredded Parmesan cheese
How To Make steak parmesan lasagna

1Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.

2Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

3Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add steak strips and cook for 8 minutes or until tender and well done. Stir in diced red onion and season with steak seasoning. Remove from heat and set aside.

4In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta, cream cheese, egg whites, and 2 teaspoons steak sauce; whisk together until blended and creamy. Set aside.

5In a large bowl, combine the marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and remaining steak sauce; Mix well and set aside.

6Spread about 1/3 of the marinara sauce mixture over the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with 3 lasagna noodles,1/2 the ricotta mixture and 1/2 the steak strips mixture. Sprinkle with 1/2 the Monterey jack and Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers.

7Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for 10 minutes.
