Ingredients For spinach macaroni casserole

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 clove
    garlic
  • 8 oz
    macaroni,cooked and drained
  • 1 pkg
    spinach/thawed and drained
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 4
    eggs,beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    fresh grated parnesan cheese
  • 1 jar
    meatless pasta sauce/heated (15 1/2 ounce size)

How To Make spinach macaroni casserole

    In A SKILLET,LIGHTLY BROWN BEEF,STIRRING FREQUENTLY with onion and the garlic over medium-high heat[do not burn the garlic}
  • 2
    In a bowl,mix the beef,cooked macaroni,spinach,milk,and the eggs,mozzarella cheese and 2 tbsps. of the parmasan cheese until well blended.

    Pour this into a GREASED 11 X7 X 2 inch baking dish

    sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese

    Cover dish with foil and BAKE at 350 degrees{preheated oven}about 45 minutes,or until SET IN CENTER.

    REMOVE FROM OVEN.Allow to set about 10 minutes,then cut into squares.

    Serve with the warmed pasta sauce on top.

    Great with a salad and warm rolls or bread.
