Ingredients For speghetti casserole

  • 1 1/2 pounds of hamburger
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup bar-b-que sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can mushrooms with juice. (8 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup green olives, sliced
  • 1 (12 oz.) package of speghetti
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese - (optional)

How To Make speghetti casserole

  • 1
    In a skillet, brown hamburger, onions, and celery in butter.

    Add other ingredients and simmer.

    In a pot, cook Spaghetti according to box directions. Drain and run hot water over spaghetti. Drain well. Add to meat mixture. Mix well.

    Add to casserole dish.

    Bake at a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

    May sprinkle Cheddar Cheese 10 minutes before you pull it out of the oven. (optional)
