This particular recipe comes from my husband's mother, but SHE got it from one of her neighbors -- an Italian lady. Those who are Italian can testify to (or against) it's authenticity. There may be some changes due to ingredient availability, and she used a chicken neck, whereas I just stick a breast in (for flavor). Either way, it's delicious!

Ingredients For spaghetti sauce

1/4 colive oil

1/4 lbpork sausage

1 lgcan tomato paste

2 qttomatoes, chopped

1 lgcan tomato juice or v-8

1 cantomato sauce

3 Tbspsugar

2 Tbspparsley

1 1/2 tspgarlic salt

1 1/2 tsponion salt

1 tspbasil, dried

1 Tbspsalt

1chicken breast

1 pkgmeatballs

1 pkgspaghetti

1 cparmesan cheese
How To Make spaghetti sauce

1Brown garlic and sausage in oil. Combine tomatoes, paste, juice, and soup. Mix sugar, parsley, garlic salt, onion salt, basil, salt, and pepper. Combine all ingredients, except spaghetti and parmesan, in crock pot. Simmer 3 hours on low.

2Make spaghetti according to package directions. Place some spaghetti on a plate, ladle sauce over top, and sprinkle parmesan over each plate, per individual taste.
