My family loves when I make this. I throw in whatever I have at the time...this time it was ricotta cheese..tasted great..I normally add pepperoni to this also, but was fresh out...have also used Italian sausage. This is one of those dishes that tastes even better the next day. This casserole also freezes well..I hope you give it a try.. My Photo's

Ingredients For spaghetti bake - cassie's

1 lbspaghetti, cooked following box directions, drain

1 1/2 lbground beef, i used lean

1 Tbspolive oil
-
( 24 ounces ) tomato sauce
-
2( 14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes and juice
-
1( 15 ounce ) ricotta cheese
-
1 smred bell pepper, diced
-
1 smgreen bell pepper, diced - i used 2 jalapeno's
-
2 clovegarlic, minced
-
1 mdonion, chopped
-
1/2 tspcayenne pepper
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
2 tspsalt
-
1 tsppepper
-
1 tsphot pepper flakes ( optional)
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
2 tspchili powder
-
2 tspitalian seasoning
-
3/4 cshredded, cheese - whatever you prefer
How To Make spaghetti bake - cassie's

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F.. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray

2In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, garlic, peppers over medium heat until meat is no long pink; drain.

3In a large bowl add the meat, sauces, tomatoes, spices, and ricotta cheese; stir well.

4Stir in the cooked pasta.

5Transfer to the baking dish, cover and bake 35 - 40 minutes.

6Uncover, sprinkle with cheese. Bake another 5 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
