Ingredients For slow cooker lasagna

  • 1 lb
    ground beef or sausage
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 can
    29 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 can
    6 oz. tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 pkg
    lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 12 oz
    cottage cheese, small curd
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 16 oz
    mozzarella cheese, shredded

How To Make slow cooker lasagna

    In a large skillet cook meat, onion and garlic until brown. Drain. Add tomato sauce, paste, oregano. Cook until heated.

    Mix all the cheeses together

    Spoon layer of meat mixture onto the bottom of slow cooker. Add a double layer of the uncooked lasagna noodles. Break to fit the noodles in the slow cooker. Top noodles with a portion of the cheese mixture. Repeat layering until everything is used.(3 layers). Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
