Ingredients For slow cooked polish sausage ragu with milk

  • FOR THE RAGU
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lg
    onion chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2
    links polish sausage small dice
  • 1 c
    dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 c
    whole milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • FOR THE PASTA
  • salt
  • 1 lb
    pasta of choice. i used spaghetti
  • freshly grated parmigiana reggiano

How To Make slow cooked polish sausage ragu with milk

    Add olive oil to pan that is big enough for the pasta. Saute the onion for about 7 minutes. Add the garlic and saute 30 seconds. Add the sausage and cook 2 minutes. Add the wine and let most evaporate. Add the milk and tomato paste. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Let simmer on low for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour. Until reduced and thickened. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water and drain. Add pasta to sauce and serve with Cheese
