This is a wonderful recipe, the flavors are so good together. Sometimes I add more onion and garlic than it calls for :)

Ingredients For skillet pasta roma

  • 1/2 lb
    italian sausage, mild, sliced
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 lg
    garlic clove, minced
  • 2 can
    italian style chopped tomatoes
  • 1 can
    tomato sauce
  • 1 c
    water
  • 8 oz
    rigatoni or spiral pasta-uncooked
  • 1 can
    olives, sliced
  • 1 or 2 Tbsp
    italian seasoning
  • parmesan cheese & parsley to put on top

How To Make skillet pasta roma

  • 1
    In large skillet brown sausage, add garlic and onion and cook til onion is soft.
  • 2
    Stir in rest of ingredients except the parmesan cheese and parsley.

    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley.
