Ingredients For skillet beef and cheesy pasta

1 lbground beef
-
1 mdonion, diced, (about 2/3 c)

1 tspgarlic powder
-
salt and pepper to taste

2 can15 oz stewed tomatoes
-
1 can5 oz tomatoe sauce
-
1 1/2 cshredded cheese of your choice
-
4 ccooked macaroni or other pasta or noodles
-
taco chips (optional)
How To Make skillet beef and cheesy pasta

1In a large saute pan, start browning the meat. Add the onions, garlic and pepper. Wait on the salt until the end and test for how much salt you need.

2In a large pot, bring water to boil and cook the pasta until done. (about 2 cups dried)

3When beef is done and onions are nearly so, add the tomatoes. Break up tomatoes and simmer on low. Check for salt. Add the drained pasta, and mix in. Then add the cheese if using.

4Serve immediately over taco chips or alone, or place in a casserole dish and place in a 220 oven to hold.
