I found this recipe in a magazine. I've made it a couple of times now treaking it a little. It's quick and easy to make

Ingredients For saucy meatballs and noodles

  • 8 ozs. wide egg noodles cooked and drained
  • 1 can each of cream of celery and cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 teas. each of thyme, garlic and salt
  • 1/4 teas. pepper
  • 12-16 oz. frozen meatballs,thawed
  • 1 bag of frozen peas or peas and carrots
  • 1 tablespoon oil

How To Make saucy meatballs and noodles

  • 1
    Using a 4 quart Dutch Oven or pan, brown onions in oil until carmalized.

    Add soups and water. Mix together.
  • 3
    Add spices, veggies, and meatballs. Heat throughly on lovw temp.
  • 4
    Add cooked noodles and stir into soup mixture. Serve with salad and garlic bread.

    You may want to add some sauted peppers or sliced mushroom to this.
