This is my version of manicotti that my mom used to make. It's super yummy!

Ingredients For sarah's manicotti

1/2 lbground beef
-
1/2 lbitalian sausage (hot or mild)

2 ccottage cheese
-
3-4 clovegarlic
-
1 pkgfrozen spinach, thawed, drained

1 1/2 Tbspbasil
-
2 Tbspparsley
-
1 pkgmanicotti noodles, prepared as directed
-
2-3 cshredded mozerella (as much as desired)

1 cmushrooms, diced
-
4 ozshredded parmesan cheese
-
2 jarspaghetti sauce (any kind)

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make sarah's manicotti

1Brown both meats and drain. Empty meats into large bowl. Add: cottage cheese, garlic, spinach, mushrooms, parsley, basil, salt & pepper & 1 handful of each cheese. Mix together well.

2Drain pasta; cut slit in one end or stuff pasta whole. Pour 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce over bottom of 9x13 baking dish.

3Place stuffed pasta shells over top of sauce. Top with left over stuffing mixture then pour sauce on top and add the remaining cheeses. Bake at 350 for 30 mins.
