I found this recipe in a magazine a few years ago, I changed it alittle to suit our tastes.

Ingredients For red clam sauce

1/4 colive oil

1/2 stickbutter
-
6 clovegarlic, chopped

1 Tbsprounded, dry parsley

1 Tbspdry basil
-
3 Tbspgrated parm. cheese

1 pinchdryed hot red pepper

1 can6oz. tomatoe paste
-
6 ozwater
-
2 can6 1/2oz. each of minced clams with juice, only drain one can clams, add the juice to sauce from other can.
How To Make red clam sauce

1In skillet add olive oil, butter and garlic on low heat, cook around 10 min. Then add the rest of the ingredients, stir good and cook for 45 min. or so. Serve with your favorite pasta. Put parm. cheese on top of pasta then put clam sauce on. Enjoy!!!
