This has been a long time favorite,that always "hits the spot" in our family!It's a hearty,tasty dish and really doesn't take long to make either.Nice served with a salad and italian bread!

Ingredients For quick shells and bean dinner

1/2 lbmedium shell pasta (3cups)

1 mdonion,chopped
-
1 mdgreen pepper,seeded and chopped

1/2 lbground beef
-
1 can28oz size,whole tomatoes,undrained

1 lbcan red kidney beans,undrained

1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspchili powder
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
-
parmesian cheese to sprinkle on top when served
How To Make quick shells and bean dinner

1Cook Medium shells as per package directions.Drain and set aside.

2Add onion,pepper and ground beef in a skillet.Cook until meat is browned.Drain excess fat.

3Add remaining ingredients,EXCEPT the shells.Simmer this for about 20-25 min.Sometimes might need to add a very small amount of water.

4During the last 10min's of cooking the above mix,add the cooked shells.Mix and heat all thru,stirring as needed. Serve with some grated Parmesian cheese on top.
