I have been making this for over thirty years. It has changed through the years. I make it with ground beef instead of the beef sirloin called for and use cream of celery or cream of chicken instead of the cream of mushroom. I also use a brick of cream cheese instead of the sour cream.

How To Make quick beef stroganoff

1Cut meat in 1/4-inch strips. Brown in hot shortening. Add onion and garlic; cook till onion is crisp-tender. Combine remaining ingredients except noodles. Add to meat. Heat through, but do not boil. Serve over noodles.
