I got this recipe from a fellow employee of Hardwick Stove Company, back in 1980. It's super easy and I love that it makes enough to freeze half for later.

Ingredients For potluck casserole

1 1/4 cmacaroni, uncooked
-
1 lbground beef
-
3 mdonions, chopped fine
-
1 Tbspshortening
-
2 cantomato sauce, 8 oz. each

1 canchili beans
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
-
1/2 tspchili powder
-
1 ccheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make potluck casserole

1Cook and drain macaroni.

2Brown beef and onions in shortening; drain.

3Add tomato sauce; cook gently 15 minutes.

4Add remaining ingredients, except cheese. Mix well.

5Pour into 1 large or 2 medium casserole dishes; sprinkle with cheese.

6Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.

7This recipe can be halved OR make 2 medium casseroles and freeze one for later.
