Ingredients For penne pasta with priscuitto sauce

1 lbpenne pasta cooked al dente
- SAUCE

4 ozpriscuitto cut into strips

3 Tbspunsalted butter

1small diced onion

4 Tbspparmesan or romano cheese

1 cheavy cream or half n half
-
1/2 cpeas (thawed)

1 canitalian plum tomatoes with basil

black pepper to taste
How To Make penne pasta with priscuitto sauce

1Saute the priscuitto and onion in a skillet over medium heat.

2Add the tomatoes and break them up with a spoon.

3Add the peas, cream and pepper.

4Cook until slightly thickened.

5Add the grated cheese.

6Serve over cooked pasta and sprinkle with more cheese before serving.
