Ingredients For penne pasta w/ tuna.

  • 1 box
    ronzoni healthy harvest penne pasta.
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped.
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic from a jar.
  • 1
    14.5 oz can crushed tomatoes in juice.
  • 1-/12 Tbsp
    fresh chopped parsley.
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice.
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes.
  • 2
    5 oz cans water-packed tuna, drained and flaked.

How To Make penne pasta w/ tuna.

    Cook pasta as directed, drain, return to pot. Heat oil in lg skillet over medium heat. Add onion & garlic, cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in tomatoes w/ their juices, parlsy and lemon juice, cook, stirring for 1 min. Add red pepper flakes. Reduce heat to med-low, cook 3-5 min or until sauce thickens, stirring often. Gently stir in flaked tuna, heat through. Add pasta to sauce, toss gently to coat and heat through.
