Ingredients For penne pasta bake

  • 1 lb
    italian sausage, hot
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    green pepper, chopped
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 jar
    (24 oz.) traditional spaghetti sauce
  • 1 pkg
    (10 oz.) philadelphis italian cheese and herb cooking creme, divided
  • 1 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 c
    penne pasta, cooked

How To Make penne pasta bake

    In a large skillet, brown the Italian sausage with the onion, pepper, and garlic. Stir in spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup of the cooking creme and 1/2 cup of the mozzarella; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until mozzarella is melted. Add pasta; mix lightly.

    Spoon mixture into a 2-qt casserole dish and top with remaining cooking creme and mozzarella. Cover.

    Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 20 minutes or until heated through, uncovering after 15 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve while hot.
