Do not add salt until you have finished and tasted. The cheese makes this dish quite salty. You can add whatever cooked protein to make it a full meal

Ingredients For penne gorganzola bake

  • 2 c
    mini penne pasta
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/4 c
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 1/2 c
    gorganzola cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter cut into 1 oz pieces
  • parsley for garnish

How To Make penne gorganzola bake

    Preheat oven 350 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt. Cook the Penne for 10 minutes. Drain the pasta reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.

    Add the pasta water to a saucepan. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute. Add the heavy cream and cook 4 minutes. Add both the cheeses and cook until cheese melts. Stir in the penne.

    Pour into a baking dish and place the butter pats on top. Bake for 20 minutes. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper garnish with parsley
