Ingredients For penne di parma

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 c
    fresh mushrooms, small & whole
  • 3/4 c
    prosciutto - cut into thin strips
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    light cream
  • 2 2/3 c
    penne - cooked per instructions
  • 1/4 c
    fresh parsley
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese

How To Make penne di parma

    In a large skillet, melt butter, add garlic and mushrooms. Cook 3 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Add prosciutto,milk and light cream, heat, reduce heat, simmer until moisture is reduced by half about 6-7 minutes. Cook pasta - remove sauce from heat. Add 3 TBSP. parmesan cheese & parsley, toss hot pasta with sauce, then sprinkle remaining cheese.
