Ingredients For pasta, with sausage and cream

12 ozradiatore pasta

2 Tbsplight olive oil

1 lbsweet italian or chicken sausage with herbs (casings removed and crumbled)

1/2 tspred pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 cdiced onion

3 cloveminced garlic
-
2 (14.5oz) canpetite diced tomatoes

1 1/2 cheavy cream
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
3 Tbspminced fresh parsley

1 cshredded cheddar cheese (optional)
How To Make pasta, with sausage and cream

1Bring large pot of lightly salted water to boil. Cook pasta following package directions. Drain and set aside.

2Heat olive oil in large, deep skillet, over medium heat. Cook crumbled sausage and pepper flakes (if using), till sausage is evenly browned. Stir in onion and garlic. Cook until onion is tender.

3Stir in petite diced tomatoes, cream, and salt. Simmer until mixture thickens. 8 - 10 minutes.

4Stir in cooked pasta into sauce, heat through. If adding the shredded cheddar cheese, add it now and stir gently until it melts and blends into the sauce. Sprinkle with parsley.
