Ingredients For pasta with onions and goat cheese

2 tspolive oil

4 cthinly sliced sweet onions

3/4 c(3oz.) goat cheese

1/4 cfat-free (skim) milk

6 ozuncooked baby bow tie pasta

1 clovegarlic, minced

2 Tbspdry white wine or fat-free reduced sodium chicken broth

1 1/2 tspchopped fresh sage or 1/2 teaspoon dried sage

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper

2 Tbspchopped toasted walnuts
How To Make pasta with onions and goat cheese

1Heat Oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions; cook slowly until golden and carmelized, about 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2Combine goat cheese and milk in small bowl; stir until well blended, set aside.

3Cook pasta according to package direction, omitting salt. Drain and set aside.

4Add garlic to onions in skillet; cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add wine, sage, salt and pepper; cook until moisture is evaporated. Remove from heat; add pasta and goat cheese mixture, stirring to melt cheese. Sprinkle with walnuts.
