Ingredients For pasta with ham, peas and cream

1 cpeas, fresh or frozen, i used canned

2 Tbspbutter, unsalted

1 csliced mushrooms
-
2 ozprosciutto ham, roughly chopped

1/2 cheavy cream
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspfreshly ground black pepper

12 ozgarden delight fettuccine

1/2 cfreshly grated parmesan cheese
How To Make pasta with ham, peas and cream

1Bring a large pot and a small pot of salted water to a boil. Add peas to the small pot and cook 3 minutes until crisp, Drain,set aside.

2Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat, add mushrooms and cook 3-4 minutes until lightly browned. Add ham and cook 1 minute. Stir in peas, cream, salt and pepper. Turn heat to low, keep warm while cooking pasta.

3Cook pasta in large pot according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the pasta cooking water. Toss pasta with butter mixture (if too dry, add a little of the pasta water). Toss pasta with the Parmesan cheese. Top the Fettuccini with the pea mixture just befre serving.
