My kids love these about as much as the cheese stuffed shells if not more..

Ingredients For pasta shell taco's

  • 1 1/4 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    ( 3 ounce) cream cheese with chives, cubed and softened
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 18
    jumbo pasta shells , cooked, rinsed, and drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 c
    prepared taco sauce
  • 1 c
    ( 4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 c
    ( 4 ounce) shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    crushed tortilla chips
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • green onions, chopped, chopped lettuce, small pitted ripe olives

How To Make pasta shell taco's

    Preheat oven to 350 degree
  • 2
    Cook beef in large skillet over medium - high heat until brown, stir to seperate meat; drain fat. Reduce heat to med - low. Add cream cheese, salt, chili powder and cumin; simmer 5 minutes.

    Toss shells with butter; fill with beef mixture. Arrange shells in greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Pour taco sauce over each shell. Cover with foil. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 15 minutes. Uncover; top with cheddar cheese, monterey jack and chips. Bake 15 minutes more until bubbly.

    Top with sour cream, onions,and what ever other veggies you would like. I have also made these with a packet of taco seasoning added to the hamburger; preparing as noted on the package..I just cut the water some.
