Ingredients For pasta fazool

3 tspminced garlic

1onion, chopped
-
1carrot, finely chopped
-
2 Tbspfresh parsley, chopped

2 tspdried basil
-
1 tspdried oregano
-
4 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

114.5 oz can whole, peeled tomatoes
-
2 ccannellini beans, drained
-
8 ozmacaroni
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make pasta fazool

1Place oil in lg skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic, onion, carrot, parsley, basil and oregano until tender.

2Add tomatoes, plus 1/4 cup of the tomato juices. Season w/ salt and pepper. Cover, simmer 10 min, stirring often until veggies are tender.

3Add the beans. Simmer 20 min. Meanwhile cook pasta as directed, drain. Toss pasta w/ butter and parmesan cheese. Add pasta to bean mix and stir.
