This is a great dish to make in the winter months when the cold is getting to you. It is also very quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients For pasta fagioli

  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 pkg
    frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 sm
    can of tomato sauce
  • 1 c
    ditalini pasta
  • 1 can
    kidney beans
  • 2 lg
    cans of water
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make pasta fagioli

  • 1
    Brown onion and garlic in oil.
  • 2
    Add spinach, tomato sauce, beans, pasta, water and salt and pepper to taste.

    Cover pot and cook until pasta is done, stirring frequently.
