Ingredients For pasta con quattro formaggi

  • 1 stick
    unsalted butter
  • 1 lb
    penne pasta
  • 1/4 c
    goat cheese, in chunks
  • 1/2 c
    freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c
    freshly grated pecorino romano cheese
  • 1/4 c
    shredded gruyere cheese
  • freshly ground black pepper as desired

How To Make pasta con quattro formaggi

  • 1
    Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan; set aside. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the penne and cook according to package directions.

    Drain and add to the butter in the sauce pan. then mix in the cheeses, one at a time, turning the noodles thouroughly as you go. serve hot with freshly ground black pepper
