I made this for supper one night and my grandson enjoyed it. Whenever he comes over now he requests me to cook this for him. He's a picky eater so I am happy to make something that he likes.

Nana's beef tips with noodles are a hearty and comforting meal. After simmering, the stew meat is extremely tender. It's smothered in a rich and savory homemade brown gravy. We served it over noodles following the recipe and this was a tasty meal. But, mashed potatoes would be a delicious option too.

Ingredients For nana's beef tips with noodles
- STEW MEAT

1 1/2 - 2 lbstew meat

1 - 2 tspLawry's seasoning salt

1/4 - 1/3 call-purpose flour

3 - 4 Tbspolive oil

2 1/2 - 3 cwater, reserve broth after simmering
- FOR SERVING

1 pkgextra wide egg noodles
- BEEF GRAVY

2 Tbspbutter
-
2 Tbspall-purpose flour

1/8 - 1/4 tspLawry's seasoning salt, to taste

1/4 tspground black pepper
-
2 1/2 - 3 creserved beef broth from cooked stew meat

1 canbeef broth (14.5 oz)

1/8 tsppaprika
How To Make nana's beef tips with noodles

1Sprinkle stew meat with seasoned salt.

2Coat with flour.

3Heat oil in large saucepan.

4Brown stew meat on all sides in hot oil.

5Add 2 1/2 - 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Boil on medium/high heat until the meat is tender (about 1 hr 15 min - 1 hr 30 min). Add water as needed.

6Cover and let stand.

7Prepare noodles per package directions.

8Remove stew meat and broth and place in a bowl. For the gravy, in the saucepan the meat was cooked in, melt butter.

9Then add flour.

10Stir for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Add season salt and black pepper.

11Add stew meat, reserved broth, and a can of beef broth to the flour mixture in the saucepan.

12Simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally.

13Add paprika.

14Serve over cooked noodles. Can also be served with rice or mashed potatoes.
