This was given to my mother after my father's funeral and all the guests loved it. Mrs. Cottom was a dear neighbor who lived across the street in Anderson, Indiana. Can easily be doubled or tripled for larger crowds.

Ingredients For mrs. cottom's goulash

1 lbground beef

1 cchopped onion
-
1 cchopped celery
-
1 mdchopped green pepper

1 med. canstewed tomatoes

1 ctomato juice
-
1/2 lbnoodles, uncooked

salt and pepper
How To Make mrs. cottom's goulash

1Brown meat. Cook onions, celery & green pepper until tender. Combine with meat. Add stewed tomatoes and tomato juice.

2Cook noodles and combine all ingredients.

3Let simmer 1/2 hour OR transfer to baking dish and bake in 300-degree oven for 1/2 hour. May serve with grated cheese topping.
