Ingredients For mom's tuna casserole

2 Tbspbutter

2 Tbspfine chopped onion

2 Tbspflour
-
2 cmilk
-
2 1/2 Tbspsoy sauce

1/2 tspgarlic powder

2 cantuna
-
1/4 lbcashew nuts

1 ccelery chopped
-
15 oz. can chow mein noodles

1/2 cmayonaise
-
few drops of hot sauce

1 tsplemon rind, grated

1 1/2 Tbsplemon juice
How To Make mom's tuna casserole

1Melt butter, add onion and brown. add flour and cook for a couple minutes. Add milk slowly whisking until thickened. Add remaining ingredients. Except noodles. If more liquid is needed add chicken broth.

2Turn into a 2 quart casserole dish. Bake 375* for 20-25 minutes. Top with chow mein noodles before serving.
