This is a recipe i made one night when i was tired of everything else and didnt want to go to the store. It was a big hit with my kids. Its very rich and fattening. I served it with cooked carrots and crusty bread.

Ingredients For mom's guilty pasta

  • 1 pkg
    pasta shells or bow tie *cooked
  • 8 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 c
    water
  • 3 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 5 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 3
    beef sausage links sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    oregano, dried

How To Make mom's guilty pasta

  • 1
    Cook pasta per direction.
  • 2
    Bring water,oregano,garlic powder and heavy cream to a slow boil stirring constantly. Then add butter pats and cream cheese (in chunks) stir till blended. Add parmesan cheese.

    Cook till it thickens. Add meat to warm then pasta. serve hot
