This recipe is a variation of Dairyland Country Casserole from Recipelion.com. I made a few changes that suit me better, and I just know it's going to be so yummy! I will post a picture when I make it.

Ingredients For midwest country casserole

8 ozegg noodles

1 1/2 lbground chuck

2 ctomato sauce

2 tspworcestershire sauce

1/2 conion, chopped fine

3 clovegarlic, minced

1 mdgreen pepper, chopped

8 ozchive cream cheese
-
1 ccottage cheese, small curd

1/2 csour cream
-
1 cmonterey jack cheese

2 cbread crumbs
-
3 Tbspbutter, melted
How To Make midwest country casserole

1Cook noodles as per package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2In a large skillet, brown the beef; drain. Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, and green pepper. Salt to taste. Simmer for about 10 minutes.

3Combine the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream in a large bowl.

4Butter or spray a large casserole dish (9x13). Pour in half of the noodles. Add the cheese and sour cream mixture and cover with remaining noodles. Top with beef mixture.

5Top casserole with Monterey jack cheese. Combine bread crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over cheese.

6Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for about 40 minutes or until bubbly and bread crumbs are browned.
