4 lbsweet Italian sausages, casings removed

2 cbiscuit baking mix

2 cMexican cheese blend

2banana peppers, chopped

1 lbdry elbow macaroni

2 Tbspmargarine
-
1/4 call purpose flour
-
1 Tbspsea salt mixed with black pepper

1 tspground cumin
-
1 tspcrushed red pepper flakes
-
1 canevaporated milk
-
1 cheavy cream
-
3/4 cgrated Parmesan cheese
-
8 ozcream cheese, cubed
-
1 cshredded colby jack cheese
-
1 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese
-
1 cpanko bread crumbs
How To Make baked macaroni with cheesy sausage balls

1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

2To make the cheesy sausage balls, combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Form into 1-inch balls.

3Place on ungreased cookie sheet 1/2-inch apart. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside.

4To make the baked macaroni, cook the macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.

5Heat margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour, sea salt/black pepper, ground cumin and crushed red pepper flakes until smooth; gradually add evaporated milk and heavy cream.

6Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, cubed cream cheese and shedded colby jack and sharp cheddar cheese until melted.

7Remove from heat. Add cooked macaroni and sausage balls into cheese mixture; stir well until combined.

8Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
