Ingredients For lyza's pesto pasta salad

  • 1/2 c
    pine nuts
  • 4 or 5 clove
    garlic
  • 5 c
    fresh basil, loosely packed
  • 1 c
    freshly grated parmesan
  • 1/2 c
    freshly grated pecorino
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 6 c
    cooked chilled bowtie pasta
  • 2 c
    frozen peas, defrosted
  • 1/2 c
    pine nuts
  • 1/2 c
    freshly grated parmesan and pecorino

How To Make lyza's pesto pasta salad

  • 1
    Combine first 6 ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

    Add lemon juice and mayonnaise and leave food processor on low until all is well blended.
  • 3
    Toss creamy pesto sauce with cooked pasta, peas, pine nuts and cheese. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes to blend flavors before serving.
